This was during the final months of JCPOA negotiations. A former head of state was discussing the most sensitive nuclear negotiation of the decade with a convicted sex offender via personal email.

ANALYTICAL FINDINGS

1. DIPLOMATIC BACK-CHANNEL

Ehud Barak — former Prime Minister, former head of Aman (military intelligence), former head of Sayeret Matkal — was using Jeffrey Epstein as a diplomatic communications channel during active nuclear negotiations. The Iran TIME article exchange occurred in April 2015, months before the JCPOA was finalized in July 2015.

2. RESIDENTIAL INTEGRATION

Barak didn't just visit Epstein. He had a dedicated apartment (11J) in Epstein's building with assigned cleaning staff, alarm codes, and Apple TV installation. Nili Priell (his assistant) coordinated directly with Lesley Groff (Epstein's gatekeeper). This is residential-level integration — not a casual acquaintance.

3. THE BANNON CONNECTION

EFTA02451122: Epstein introduced Steve Bannon to "thjorborn jaagland... head of council of europe" in the same sentence he coordinated Barak meetings. Barak and Bannon were both receiving Epstein's introductions to heads of state. The switchboard bridging Israeli intelligence and Trump's chief strategist through the same node.
